Flexible summer holiday care for kindergarten and elementary school children. Under this motto, the Granitland communities of Altenfelden, Neufelden, Kirchberg and Kleinzell have joined together to form a network to make childcare even more needs-based and, above all, more family-friendly. The municipality of Kleinzell strives to offer continuous childcare for the summer holidays here in Kleinzell, in order to meet the wishes of many parents to know that their children are well looked after during this time. Without support from outside – family, friends and other offers – the compatibility of work and family is hardly possible.

Haslach “Steinerne Mühl Child Care Network”
The market town of Haslach, together with the communities of St. Stefan/Afiesl, St. Oswald, Lichtenau and Vorderweißenbach, offers summer childcare (Steinerne Mühl childcare network). The need for childcare places in Haslach is being surveyed by the municipality using a questionnaire. The summer care then takes place in the municipality with the highest number of registrations.

Lembach (holiday care Donau Ameisberg)
The community of Lembach, together with 7 other communities from the region, organizes cross-community summer care for school and kindergarten children. In the spring, the need for childcare places is surveyed by the schools and kindergartens. The summer care then takes place in the municipality that needs the most care places.
